On Saturday evening, the Muslim community responded to the invitation of the Islamic Charity Projects Association to commemorate the blessed occasion of the Prophet’s Hijri migration.
The event was held under the patronage of Darulfatwa in Australia at Salamah College Grand Hall, with a strong community attendance.

The evening featured a spiritually engaging and uplifting atmosphere, including performances by the ICPA Nasheed Group, who delivered a selection of meaningful Islamic chants distinguished by refined performance and melodious voices, adding a deeply moving and devotional tone to the gathering.

On this occasion, the Deputy chairman of Darulfatwa Australia, Sheikh Dr Ibrahim Al-Shafei, delivered a speech entitled “Migration: A Path of Light and Patience.” In his address, he highlighted the key lessons and moral insights derived from the Prophet’s noble migration, emphasising the values of patience, perseverance, and sacrifice, as well as the importance of following the Prophet’s example in overcoming challenges and building communities grounded in faith and strong principles.

At the conclusion of the event, the President of the ICPA, Hajj Mohammed Mehio, presented certificates of recognition to the honoured pilgrims who were blessed to perform Hajj this year, in appreciation of their commitment to fulfilling this important obligation in Islam.
This celebration reflects the Muslim community’s dedication in Australia to preserving its religious values and prophetic heritage, and its commitment to commemorating Islamic occasions in a way that strengthens unity, solidarity, and mutual goodwill.
