Our programs are designed to support the all-round development of students, equipping them with valuable life skills and a strong moral foundation. By aligning with Australian educational standards while fostering spiritual growth, we help students thrive both academically and personally.
Islamic SRE provides essential guidance that helps students grow into confident, principled, and active members of the Australian community. Our approach focuses on four key outcomes:
Our Islamic Special Religious Education (SRE) program is dedicated to nurturing students who lead with integrity, confidence, and strong values. By combining faith-based learning with essential life skills, we support the development of well-rounded individuals prepared for the future.
Special Religious Education (SRE) is part of the NSW public school timetable, allowing students to receive religious instruction based on their chosen faith. Participation is based on parent or caregiver selection.
Classes are conducted by trained and authorised AIES volunteers who meet all requirements, including Working With Children Checks, and follow a strict professional code of conduct.
No, SRE is optional. Parents and caregivers decide whether their child participates in SRE or alternative non-scripture activities.
The curriculum focuses on Islamic beliefs, history, ethical values, and practical life guidance. It promotes character development and respect for diversity.
Islamic SRE is provided for students whose families have chosen Islamic instruction. While faith-based, it promotes universal values such as respect, understanding, and good character.
