Islamic Religious Education Services

The Australian Centre for Islamic Education Services (ACIES) – (ICPA) provides specialised programs tailored to support the spiritual and pastoral needs of the Muslim community.

Special Religious Education (SRE)

We facilitate and manage the delivery of Islamic SRE (Scripture) in NSW public schools. Our program adheres to the core tenets of the Islamic faith, providing students with a structured environment to explore their identity and values.

Chaplaincy & Pastoral Care

We provide a bridge between the spiritual needs of the individual and the procedural demands of modern institutions. We ensure that all people, whether in hospitals, schools, prisons and the military have access to high-quality care that nurtures emotional and spiritual wellbeing during life’s most challenging moments.

No, SRE is optional. Parents and caregivers decide whether their child participates in SRE or alternative non-scripture activities.

The curriculum focuses on Islamic beliefs, history, ethical values, and practical life guidance. It promotes character development and respect for diversity.

Islamic SRE is provided for students whose families have chosen Islamic instruction. While faith-based, it promotes universal values such as respect, understanding, and good character.
